The Nguyen family says goodbye to 3 children and their grandmother.

On February 16th of 2021, the lives of the Nguyen family were forever changed. On that day, during an unprecedented Winter Storm in Texas, most of Houston, Sugar Land, and surrounding areas were grappling with massive power outages and freezing temperatures. That same night, around 2:15 am, the Sugar Land Fire Department responded to a house fire call at Vista Lakes and found that the house was completely engulfed in flames. Heartbreakingly, Olivia, Edison, and Colette were in the home at the time with their grandmother and did not survive.

The OEC Nguyen foundation was created to honor the beautiful lives of Olivia, Edison, and Colette through fire safety education and awareness to prevent the painful loss of other loved ones.
