Born from a Tragedy
The OEC Nguyen Foundation was formed in memory of Olivia, Edison, and Colette Nguyen, bright lights tragically extinguished by a house fire. We've taken our pain and transformed it into a mission: to ensure every household is equipped with essential fire safety tools. We envision a world where every family is prepared and every precious moment is protected.

PROVIDING RESOURCES
At the OEC Nguyen Foundation, we recognize the power of community awareness as the cornerstone for a safer tomorrow for our children. In collaboration with local firefighters, we've developed a comprehensive Fire Safety Box, an essential toolkit that every household should possess. As part of our initiative, we're also partnering with schools to ensure resources and knowledge reach the widest audience. We invite you to explore what the Sugar Land Fire Department offers for individual homes, schools, and beyond. Together, let's create a safer future!

SCHOLARSHIPS
The OEC Nguyen Foundation knows that not everyone can afford/maintain the cost of a private education. We share the same values and commitment to future generations and want to be a part of helping children achieve their full potential. OEC will work directly with St. Laurence Catholic School to provide and award scholarship dollars to children who are in need and qualify.

As a result of this tragic event, the OEC Nguyen Foundation was born. Our goals are simple: to provide Scholarships, Fire Blankets, 2nd Floor Ladders, and raise fire safety awareness in our community. We believe that thoughtful education can preserve, protect, and save the lives of future generations!
